Saints v Wire - Sky changes

Recommended Posts

It is more of a problem than in recent years as they used to announce all Thursdays at the start of the year, then same again when Suoer 8s came in. We are just working on a rolling 2 week basis now which is hard on fans.

It is hard on some fans, especially travelling.  Thursdays seem to bring decent viewing figures, but travelling fans for the fixture must be way down on the weekend numbers.  Seems to be pretty knee jerk from Sky.

Be interesting to see if SLE try and address this in the next contact.

As if Sky give a toss about the fans.

Hope it doesn't affect Saint's squad selection.

I wonder if there will be an outcry the week before the Final (should we get there) in the East of Hull?

We’re due to play Leeds the week before a possible Wembley appearance and should we get there, I expect some changes to the squad for the Leeds game.

Strangely, there was no outcry of the unfairness that London played against 1st place in a loop fixture and other relegation threatened teams played them just the twice...

Leeds and Huddersfield play Saints three times too so your point is not valid.

The fact that the fixture list is not even is an issue though, depending on the draw it can be a big disadvantage!

your wrong in your assertion as other relegation battle teams play saints x3...

the fixture list not being the same for each team is imho an issue, for that reason should be a play-off as per top 5.

better still get rid of loop and other odd fixtures to ensure fairness.
