Greetings to our friends in Dewsbury

Every week fevnut writes a blog that includes his ‘musings’ column. This week we we put forward some reasons which we might be factors in the decline of the Challenge Cup. We also reveal the huge number of dual reg and loan signings and suggest that it is detracting from club identity outside super league.

Access the article by using the link below and then by using the links on the right hand side of the page you can find all sorts of information pertinent to the match coming up on Sunday, including pages about the Dewsbury squad and another about the history of matches between Dewsbury and Fev.

Looking forward to seeing you all on Sunday.

Nice summary fevnut. I do wonder, when players have turned out for several clubs, how coaches can expect to keep set plays secret. Where such plays can give teams an edge, knowing the opposition are already clued up surely negates the advantage.

Censorship ends in logical completeness when nobody is allowed to read any books except the books that nobody reads.

Nice summary and much as I usually like  to disagree with anything it’s hard to disagree with anything penned there.

Knowing the plays and stopping them are two different things though Grumpy. How often have you, as a spectator watched sets developing and known full well what the next plays were going to be, yet still your team fails to cover them?

Sport, amongst other things, is a dream-world offering escape from harsh reality and the disturbing prospect of change.
