Could’ve been a lot worse. At half time I was worried that could be a 60-70 point defeat. Let’s get em home safely and get ready for Featherstone, a chance for Fordy to pickup his 100th York win in (hopefully) the last league fixture at Bootham.

The odds are heavily stacked against any part time team going to Toronto, the fact we only took 17 players sums it up. The scoreline tonight has hammered the points difference, but as has been said, as long as we haven't picked up any serious injuries we are no worse off than any other team who has been to Canada this season. I hope Wolfpack get promoted, if they do,the Championship will be a much more level playing field next season.

Summary of the game every player, coach and fan can be proud. With that short turn around arriving on Friday and playing in near on 30c sun with no shade is commendable. They put everything into it today and were determined to get that try and stop the 0 on the score sheet. The Wolfpack are obviously a decent side and looked a super league team in parts today really were unplayable for some of their tries but wasn't for a lack of trying on Yorks part. The best part the croud of 7261 of which approx 40-50 York fans outsung them all game. The last 5 minutes was like a Knights jukebox and the slowed down version of oh when the Knights should be released as a record. Incredibly proud of the boys and great reception from the Wolfpack. I hope they go up too!

Just hope we dont have any players injured for next week, understand Cameron Scott came off injured.

We saw Cameron after the match with his arm in a sling, didn't look too good so fingers crossed. As Harrogate says the lads never gave up but looked a bit off their game at times which allowed the points to stack up. However, IMO Toronto played some good stuff today which would have troubled some super league sides . The Knights fans who made it over were brilliant today and did the club proud. So did ex players Geoff Pryce, Gary Price, Ian Tansley and Trevor Midgley who came over to support the lads.

The Kneets live to fight another day.
