The Ginger Pearl

This term is like a chef trying to give an appetising name to a dogturd on a plate.

This world was never meant for one as beautiful as me.

How would you refer to the similar aphorism that was ascribed to Ellery Hanley?

Not required.  Hanley's was suitable and unique.

What next? Paul McShane: The Chubby Pearl. Chris Hill: The Bald Pearl. George Williams: The Long Nosed Pearl.

Really? Are you sure? How can one tell?

The player that threw it had a Wigan shirt on.

With Halloween coming up I decided to go to my local fancy dress shop to see if I could get a Dracula costume. After a few minutes the assistant handed me a Hull KR shirt asking "Is this suitable?", I replied "I think you may have misheard me, I said I wanted to look like a count."

Fortunately the video on You Tube has the 20metre line to give context,George Williams throwing movement is clearly forward (not over, under, sideward, down) and the singer who scored off the next fast had to stretch to get it. Other than that Kendall was our ref for the second week after an awful displayers piously and Child's was running the line and had to turn his head to catch up with the direction of the ball.

This vr evidence clearly avoids any anti Wigan bias or argument that we were sore losers, just peer off that yet again the RFL seem unable to provide a different Ref each week!

What's the same ref got to do with it?

I'm sure Wigan have had a try given away by a forward pass this season and KR have probably won a try with a forward pass or some infringement.

It was undoubtedly a forward pass, tough on the Robins.

The point re the Ref,spoilt by predictive text ,was that Kendall was a clown v Castleford and yet the RFL impose the same Ref the following week. Totally unnecessary but frequently done. We have enough Refs to keep their relationship with a team and its fans. Who allocates the Refs each week?
