You get this in all leagues featherstone rovers have been fined £10,000 this year for their behaviour. It seems some fans think they're entitled to act how they want. I think the RFL needs to fine the club's and the club's need to pass out lifetime bans to these people.

Agreed, and also punishes the vast majority of fans who aren’t imbeciles, not to mention the players, coaching staff, directors etc. What can the club do to stop trouble outside the ground, it’s not their fault.

Yes Eddie it is not any club's fault for the behavior of the cretins that follow them, but if the club doesn't take ownership of the problem and takes steps to alleviate it who will? It cannot be allowed to continue without some form of action being taken and unfortunately for the (whichever) club it happens to be it's their problem.

A suggestion, not many people these days do not walk about without having a camera in their pockets, why do clubs not introduce a message/notice board that pictures of the perpertrators caught in the act can be posted anonymously if so wished, the club's can then use the information in whatever form they deem nessacary.

This is a kind of neighbourhood watch scheme for Rugby League with today's technology which could cut out this vile cancerous growth in no time. All people who care about the game and its future, should be on board.

Depends how close to the ground it is. Clubs do have a responsibility to make sure their customers leave in a way that doesn't affect the rest of the neighbourhood. Night clubs get their licenses taken off them if their patrons leave and start scrapping in the local vicinity.

Clubs MUST show that they are doing something to control their fans, whether at the ground, at someone else's ground or outside the ground. Name and shame, bans, stronger police presence, stewards, whatever. But they cannot sit on their hands and say "it's not our fault."

It's been a very long time since I have seen our grounds policed by actual police Wellsy, isn't it now to expensive to employ them? and quite frankly a lot of the stewards I have seen employed in some grounds don't give the apperance that they could deal with any kind of trouble.

It's a poor state of affairs but nothing new, to be right.

I can remember coaches being stoned coming away from Whitehaven and Hull KR in the seventies/eighties. Coaches from Hull FC always had police motorcycles as escort for a good few years in that period as well. We got stoned coming away from Wigan in the noughties too.

We like to pretend that everything has always been brilliant in RL, but, in truth, we reflect society just like the rest.

Pretty unprofessional. You wouldn't catch Justin Holbrook or Tony Smith doing that these days.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

If you can't control the people in our around your club on your own, they need bringing in. It IS the club's responsibility to control their fans. The RFL need to make sure they're forcing clubs to do this. Heavy fines (even if suspended initially) will make it too expensive for offending clubs to NOT bring in police presence.

If I had my way Warrington And indeed clubs that have these issues should be made to play a handful of consecutive fixtures behind closed doors and at secret neutral venues. Yes I accept it punishes the innocent but hopefully the majority of Warrington fans who by the way I believe are good decent people will turn on these #### and dob them into the Police via Crimestoppers. And hopefully the Courts will lock the #### up for a very long time with no parole.

I personally wish that the Police here would Deal with them very harshly and go in hard, and I mean hard with batons, tasers, rubber bullets whatever they have at their disposal to apprehend the bastards and hurt them severely.

And I bet they would not behave like this in Vladimir Putin’s Russia as they would get it from their Police and get banished to some very remote outpost.Shame we don’t do that here.

Hope all you like Rob but even if anyone is convicted they won't see the inside of a prison unless they are serial offenders. This is 21st century Britain where criminals are a protected species. A slap on the wrist or community service with a fine is the best they would do.

So you fancy living in an authoritarian police state because some Wire fans have been acting the tosspot? Seems a bit extreme.

Wtf sort of a thread even is this? The most info we have had so far is a known troll making unsubstantiated claims and we are already dispatching Wire fans to Siberia.

And unfortunately that is a big part of the problem.I believe that the only way to deal with crime is to be hard. And locking the filth up for a very long stretch is what society should demand as I believe that society should be protected from them. And that includes the good fans of Warrington and St Helens who I believe the majority are good.

I did not blame all Wire fans, far from it and you are calling me a Troll which I am certainly not you muppet. And no doubt you stick up for these criminals who did this last night and criminals in general and apologise for them?

No wonder why the crime rate in this country is high when clowns like you stick up for them.

Listen pal this country is an authoritarian police state now where certain people aren’t allowed to speak out yet others can do what they want?

And it seems you believe the ?? that the MSM come out with about places like Russia.I know people who have been there and say it is not like it is portrayed

I don't think you was the one being called a troll for what it's worth. That said 'lock up with no parole' 'rubber bullets' 'hurt them severely' 'Putin's Russia' - does sound a bit mental like.......

It is a problem and does need dealing with. I saw someone the other day say RL needs to get off it's high horse and stop kidding itself that this is 'a handful of wrong uns' and realise the supporters aren't much different to the football fans they've lambasted over the years - exactly right. And as such need to take the appropriate steps to stamp it out. I saw someone write after last week's incident 'you can bet the BBC will cover this' - yeah and too right they did! Otherwise nothing will change. Had that have been a football in this country it would been world news, so in that respect RL should think itself lucky. Also, this is nothing like a problem that is specific to Warrington - every set of supporters I've come across has this element and whilst they may be a minority they are linked to the club they 'support' and if it means expensive policing to make the vast majority feel safe then so be it.
