No idea who Moley is but great if it’s true, glad they haven’t been put off by TWP’s current issues. It would be great to see them both in a 14 or even 16 team SL in a few years time - 10 English, 2 French and 2 Canadian teams would be superb.

Moley is the RL mole in Australia, a journo reknowned for getting the scoops earlier than most. He tagged the wrong Ottawa thing though.

An 8 team league would be awful!

Eddie I think we just might be getting a little bit ahead of ourselves here....Ottawa not confirmed and no mention of NYC.....could add in Boston and Philly and Halifax with Ottawa and Toronto....who would be next Chicago would be a very nice geographic fit as would Montreal...then??? Jacksonville?

That makes 10.

Time for a North American League...

with NY, just need 5 more clubs.

How quickly would an American competition overshadow Super League?

Would they take away more English talent?

A French and North American League would work well if they could get the TV deal.

4 of each. Play each other twice (14 games) and your own nation 4 times (extra 6 games) to make 20, mixed with a new mixed competition with SL to build the numbers up.

A start.

Some cracking teams in that list, if only they existed.

If Toronto can retain their place in Super League at the end of this year, attracting good crowds to their away games in England (like over 11,000 at Warrington tonight) then I am sure that Ottawa and New York will be encouraged to become viable realities.

Hopefully Toulouse can make to leap into SuperLeague at the end of this season, to boost the game in France. And that development of a  French presence will also make Super League franchises more attractive to north Americans, both investors and fans.
