Some Strange choices. Marsters and Hopoate but no Manu? Vaughan and Klemmer, but no Nelson A-S or Adam Fanua-Blake? Edrick Lee and Maumalo but no Sivo? Tedesco has been the standout for me all year and should get the Dally M. Rookie is a tough one. Probably Haas or Sivo. Coach for me Des Who has worked miracles at Manly.

Lee and Maumalo ahead of him . Bizarre

I like Fergo but he has been out for a lot of games this year and has had nowhere near the impact Sivo has had.

He should have been Rookie of the year and best Winger by some distance.

Talent is secondary to whether players are confident.

Congrats and well deserved Tedesco. With the rest I would have gone Des for Coach of the year, just in front of Bellamy and Sticky. I would have gone for Manu or Croker over Mitchell for Centre of the year. Mitchell goes missing in many games. Dont think he has been that good this year overall. Apparently because Sivo was suspended twice, he wasnt put forward for winger of the year. But then why was he down as Rookie of the year? Munster was very good in the regular season, but was non existant for the playoff games, which dont count.

Papali over Haas

Croker over Mitchell

Tupou over Maumalo

The rest I’m ok with. Hooker could have easily have gone to Hodgson, interchange could’ve gone to Fainu or Hamlin-Uele and half could’ve gone to Marshall or Wighton instead of Munster. Sivo also unlucky not to feature as winger!

If Cameron Smith was stuffed and they were wheeling him around he’d win awards. Papali best prop all day long . I’d have Sivo as winger and he didn’t even make the list . I’d also say for a traditionally stellar area down under the half back category wasn’t a vintage one this year

Referee of the year maybe but Cam Smith best hooker/captain,not sure about that, maybe a retirement gift.

Led Melbourne to the minor Premiership and as they finished up 6 points ahead of the rest. Think he easily deserves the Captain Award. In the Regular Season he was overall the best hooker for me. Hodgson was very good, but Smith more influential. Cook didnt go so well after Origin and struggled at times to get the Bunnies going.
