Looks like the RL want the showcase Grand Final between Saints and Wigan , If that had been a Championship or League 1 player, they would have got 3 matches for dangerous contact . If you follow the Disciplinary decisions over the season , they always favour Super league players . Town played Hunslet away, Danny Tickle gets a one match ban and misses the Newcastle match , if you were at the match ,you would have wondered what Danny had done . If anybody watched England RU match where Owen Farrell was flattened with a similar Shoulder charge to the one Tony Clubb had done the Player got a STRAIGHT RED . Super league player before a big game , especially big final and suddenly the rules are different from a league in the shadows where no ones bothered . Carlisle1921 Posted October 3, 2019 Share Posted October 3, 2019 Exactly the same as when we had sam hewitt on DR and he got sin binned for a trip in the 79th minute of a game that was already won. Everyone thought that would be the end of it but the disciplinary comes out on the thursday and he got 3 games for tripping. I kept an eye on it for the next couple of months and no other player got even 1 game for a trip, it was either no charge or sin bin sufficient, how they got 3 games I'll never know Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
