And is Serbia any chance in beating Greece ?

I suspect the winner will be the team with the most Quantas customers.

No disrespect to London but would attendance figures be better if they took a chance on staging it in Manchester/Leeds or even in the North East/West maybe more Scots would be persuaded to turn up?

It is Greece's home fixture, due to politics it has to be played outside Greece. The London Borough of Haringey has a sizeable Greek population, and the Mayor of Haringey has Greek heritage. The attendance just like last time they played at New River Road will be healthy. I am pretty certain that only a handful of the Greek fans who attended last time had ever seen a Rugby League match in their lives. As for catering to Scotland fans, they do not deserve any preferential treatment. They had their chance on Saturday and blew it, with less than 300 fans attending their most important home fixture in years, despite the game being played in Scotland' largest city.

In reply to flyingking, the Lochinch police ground is not exactly the best known stadium in the fair city of Glasgow. Anniesland or Firhill (both used for RL previously) would have been better choices.

Scotland won 42-24 to qualify. Sounded like a good game.

Really good game, Greece surprised me though faulted in the last 20mins. Felt Scotland were scrappy at times & gave some senseless penalties away. Greece will easily beat Serbia & be an interesting addition to the WC. I just hope both sides get plenty of games in between now and the WC
