I think he has always worked with higher quality nrl players in his career, but the error free play might get them to an odd final but they lack any creativity and he will pick an out of form NRL english born or qualified player over ones in our competition.

Interested to know which one (or more) of the English NRL players are out of form, in your opinion.

I am very happy to debate whether Bennett is adding value as our coach right now but including the result from the third game of a three game series when England had already sealed the series by winning the first two games is hardly painting a full picture.

"The history of the world is the history of the triumph of the heartless over the mindless." — Sir Humphrey Appleby.

"If someone doesn't value evidence, what evidence are you going to provide to prove that they should value it? If someone doesn't value logic, what logical argument could you provide to show the importance of logic?" — Sam Harris

Hall, but if you look at some of the past heritage players used by Bennett were no better than players born and playing here.

There are plenty of wingers over here who actually play ,Grace,Charnley, Lineham, Handley,Marshall, Burgess, and others I just can't think off, but even mcgilvry has had a poor season. If you look at the squad the Warrington players in there only Clarke deserves his place and perhaps Philbin has at least had a decent season. But some members of the squad have selected on how they played for Bennett in the WC campaign not on form.

Out.

Getting 100% completion rate in the first half means nothing if it doesnt lead to points. 5 drives and a kick distorts the completion stats.

It is also no good being tight defensively if you can't score more than 12/14 points to win a game (even 6 points in the WC Final).

You can't select an entire team based on form in the international area. An international team has have some form of stability, common understanding and established relationships/combinations, otherwise players won't know each other resulting in the team being completely disjointed and ineffective.

This team are none ineffective as a unit - look at our defensive structures. They are simply playing rank awful tactics largely down to Bennett's obsession with playing everything through Hodgson and reliance on Widdop's aimless kicking. As soon as Bennett brought Clarke on, it gave the team far more freedom and they fought back; you saw space on the outside for Lomax to exploit and space for Hastings to exploit; which they began to do. Yes they need an injection of pace on the wings but having Makinson and Johnstone wouldn't have made a blind bit of difference, due to Bennett's tactics; you could stick Grace on the end and it wouldn't have made a blind bit of difference.

For me, the answer to the question depends on how GB play the next match. If it's the same as this week (and last), he should be gone at the end of the year. That's a far cry from the end of the RLWC17 when we were all desperate to retain him...
