GB only 5-12 with bookies

Remarkable really when we should probably be 1-5

With the squad we have, it will be no walk in the park for most of the game.  These blokes hit hard.  The humidity will be the key.

Thompson saying he taking a needle for his rib injury but that might backfire.

I actually agree with bookies at 5-12 for all the reasons you say

I just think with all our resources we skills be much better than we are

I’ve worked a lot in high humidity.  Just looked and it’s 34 degrees and 98 humidity.

Many think it’s the heat that gets to you.  It’s the humidity.

I’m hearing Ash Handley isn’t in the squad for the PNG game, if he doesn’t play that is ridiculous from Bennett to get him out there to not play him

Yes' I think that’s right.  Got to be more to it than that.  I think if Bennett made the decision he’d stick with it, but it might have been Sir Kev just in case he was needed.

He’ll be able to watch a few films and get a meal on the way.

Flown Ash Handley all the way to PNG and not picked him in the squad, what a waste of time. Will say it again Bennett has to GO.

Wayne Bennett does whatever Wayne Bennett wants to do. He must have got wind of the supporter noise about a specialist winger so made it out like he'd given in to fan pressure, only to take the absolute p**s out of everyone by not picking him afterall. He'll be sat in a room on his own somewhere laughing his head off.

PNG win. Hell, why not...

Yep . So basically he’s made the most pointless wasted journey since Livingstone looking for the source of the Nile ... ‘ Mr Bennett ‘ , ‘ Mr Handley I presume . Never heard of you but welcome . Have a nice holiday ‘

You couldn't make it up. What a total waste of money to fly him out, he must wonder why?

Flying Handley out there and not playing him is the last straw for me, Bennett has to go. The squad selection, team selection and tactics have all been sub-par. He's done some good things in the last couple of years but this has been unacceptable.

Someone on in charge of the tour concept and organisation needs to be held accountable as well, not that it'll happen. GB brought back for nostalgia with no strategy, strange tour schedule with no defined test series against any one nation, playing as a curtain raiser to Tonga v Australia, poor crowds etc etc.

As for the game, I would actually like to see a PNG win and it's likely the best chance they'll have for some time. I think GB will end up winning by 16-20 points though.

There are always unused players in a touring squad, you play your best players, Handley isn’t one of them and is only there in case of another injury to a winger

For the game after the PNG game? Come off it. Flying a kid all the way around the world to watch him stick Blake Austin on the wing is a disgrace. If he wasn't going to play him then Williams or Trueman could have been wing cover seeing as he thinks Austin is adequate.

The same people calling for Bennett to go we’re probably calling for McNamara to go before him.

People expect instant results at international level when the reality is the NRL is a far superior competition compared to Super League.

Bennett got us  within 6 points of winning a World Cup on away soil, a fantastic achievement.

He has been there 4 years and has a 4 from 12 record against Australia (0-3) NZ (3-4) and Tonga(1-1) (33%).

Tonga has a 3 from 6 record against NZ (1-1), Eng/GB (1-1) and Aus (1-1) over the same period (50%).
