KIWI REPEAT?

New Zealand and Samoa emerge as possible 2020 opponents for England

I imagine that would be extremely unlikely. I assume they'll be looking at something like the 2017 test against Samoa as part of the Pacific test event, or otherwise NZ hosting.

Why should it be unlikely? Or are you suggesting that NRL clubs won't let it happen?

Yep, that's what I'm suggesting. There's also going to be a full round of club games played in England at the time, but mainly I think it'll just happen similarly to 2017 because of logistics, NRL gripes etc.

because of excuses,    .........NRL gripes, Oh them again when they'd sens NRL players to the Moon for a fortnight for SOO! Most times it's best not to listen or read and turn up at whatever they've managed to arrange between the two things.

NZ again, 😴

I’d love to see us play Tonga or Fiji over here though, ideally in a double header with the Knights playing Wales or France in the opening game.

I have no problem in playing NZ again.

It would be a pretty good preparation for the Ashes series.

NZ play Tonga mid-season and we’ve not got a window in our calendar for such an event.

A non-story if ever I saw one.

Sad but true. A shame.

Jeez, so glad I posted this story 🙄

All you get is people moaning about the origin of the story or about having to potentially play NZ again............I wonder why I bother

I'd rather play New Zealand than nobody.

Though NZ are better than them.

6 posts removed. Come on... play nicely, I know it's the off-season but there's no excuse.
