A round of games on Tuesday and Wednesday? Is this correct?

Looks like they’ve replaced the traditional Friday/Monday fixtures over Easter with Friday, Tuesday/Wednesday then Sunday.

Add in golden point extra time and I hope clubs are running bigger squads this year!

And Dewsbury v Bradford is going to be played at Headingley as a part of a double-header on June 21st.

Comments/ outrage?

Sport, amongst other things, is a dream-world offering escape from harsh reality and the disturbing prospect of change.

A Bradford Bulls Spokesperson added: “We fully support the decision for Leeds Rhinos’ Emerald Headingley Stadium to host our away fixture against Dewsbury Rams in what promises to be a fantastic afternoon of action on and off the field."

Same spokesperson who's been making lots of announcements recently?

Also see that Dewsbury are starting the season off on a Friday night in January against a team that you'd expect to bring a few supporters on a Sunday afternoon but that spot's being occupied by their house guests against a team that won't bring many whenever the game was played......

And Batley are also at home. Great job by the fixture planners.

Surely professional clubs should be able to play fixtures anytime.

So full time teams can't play 3 games in 9/10 days despite running reserves , therefore having more players available next year ?

But part time teams will play 3 times in 9/10 days including mid week despite probably having less players available due to less DR and loans next year ?

Rugby League will never be straight forward with the way it's being run a lately.
