If you don't sell many , just print a small amount. Surely programme ads over a season cover the cost ? It's a service to supporters. I like to know who's playing for both teams. Turned up at Workington Town today - nothing, not even a team sheet. All those West Bowling fans I am sure would have liked a memento of their day out. Totally agree, the history of clubs and the memories of fans, were always in the programme, it's an absolute disgrace that the majority of clubs are ignoring fans wishes. Super Rooster
There are Catalans Dragons programmes being sold on ebay for their home games against Huddersfield and Cas. They are listed as unofficial 8 page issues but they are being sold from Belarus !! I'm guessing that they may never have actually visited France.
hrtbps
Does anyone know if any unofficial fanzines are still in existence? Proper old school, but would love to pick one or two up. Hopping Mad
Looks very much like Super League Hull FC have reverted to a traditional match programme for 2020. The 18th Man, a 48-pager costing £3, is produced by Ignition Sports Media.

Yes, I emailed the Shaw Cross secretary on Friday evening. He said Sharks are 'going digital' this season, adding the club's designer is away at the moment. It's why there wasn't a programme of any description yesterday. Why I went elsewhere for my Saturday sporting fix! Hopping Mad
Sadly, Coventry have given up on proper programmes this season. Here's a link to their digital offering for the 1/3 League One clash with Newcastle: https://static1.squarespace.com/static/543855d7e4b0dfc8685d705d/t/5e5ac52f6b59fb4dacebfc90/1583007030787/newcastleprog.pdf
headtackle
I dont agree with this move by clubs. A programme is part of the game and a physical momento. Will be interesting to see if decent quality fanzines try and fill the gap. There are some decent articles/insights written by fans and a reasonably priced alternative might sell very well.

To be honest, this is not an online programme. It's just a webpage. Leigh's online prog is at least a PDF in magazine format. I don't see the point of calling this a 'programme'. 1 https://www.fevarchive.co.uk/
