To an extent fair enough but the guy is a gun.... If you make him too cautious of making mistakes then does he lose what makes him great?

Which is why Hull's signing of Adam Swift was such a strange option. He's exactly the same as Naulago in that he can do something brilliant but is also pretty much guaranteed to come up with an absolute howler in every game.

Opposition teams kickers are going to have a field day with both Hull wingers this year.

Ratu is actually really solid under a high ball. Where he makes errors tends to be in contact or by pushing things that aren't quite on. I don't know if being a 7s specialist means he doesn't quite respect possession like he should.

That said I have never really thought of him as error prone. Faraimo always seemed much worse. Does anyone have stats to back up what Radford said about leading the team for errors?

Great pep talk just before the season start and kind of goes without saying.

To be fair, most of what Radford says is very positive and TRL, quite reasonably being a news organisation, has picked out the one bit he said about how he can improve.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Reduce errors? Well everyone should be looking to do that anyway. To me it highlights an issue in the media which the opposition fans will focus on are more than likely to give him some grief over it potentially making it worse. Closed doors conversation for me.

Not necessarily. The best players are not just the one's who do the good things but also cut out the bad things.

I was asked on these boards why I didn't rate Josh Hodgson as much as some did and my response was not thinking what he did well he didn't do well enough, in the NRL in particular his contribution in attack is phenomenal, but he also topped the hooker stats for errors, penalties conceded and missed tackles and it was this that let's him down.

The very very best players excel in the positive plays and cut out the negative plays... even the most creative players.

What an absolute load of tripe.

And I refer the honourable Toppy to my learned friend's post above mine, before he launches a stinging retort.

With Halloween coming up I decided to go to my local fancy dress shop to see if I could get a Dracula costume. After a few minutes the assistant handed me a Hull KR shirt asking "Is this suitable?", I replied "I think you may have misheard me, I said I wanted to look like a count."

I think Radder's has set the bar high for him and rather than a criticism, it's a goal to become an absolute "stand out" winger instead of one of a bunch of very good wingers that grace (hidden meaning!) super league....
