Give ?

Well they paid for it, but from a brief peruse of the net they used a dedicated channel and increased Sky Sports News coverage (including as I've noticed bumping it ahead of RL and RU on the app) to stop the NFL going direct with its own streaming service.

No idea, clearly enough to keep coming back

So everybody is guessing , they spend millions and millions over 4 decades and end up with 3 on the road games and a possibly paid for TV channel ?

Fantastic 😂

To stop them streaming ? , Surely if they want to stream they can , but they know streaming wouldn't build a fan base , it would only satisfy the existing fans , so they most likely pay SKY for increased coverage

There is no proof that it makes any profit , but you can guarantee its cost a fortune so far , and will continue to do so for a long time

Just hàd a look at this popularity and why SKY have started this NFL channel, it is quite simple really, quote:-

"Comcast acquired Sky in 2018, and it's this new firepower that has allowed Sky to bring more NFL content to UK viewers - Comcast run the NFL Network in the US.

It allows Sky to spread their reach further in terms of sports content, the diversification of channels helping their rivalry against BT Sport"

So I would strongly suggest that for the SKY arm of the organisation Comcast have already paid for it and are using it as a very cost effective broadcast tool for SKY.

Not really, that American Football us so popular on these shores, it warrents its own dedicated channel.

I love how you keep repeating the same false outcome over and over again. It's sort of heroic.

But we're still really popular in Leigh.

Probably.

And, at the end of the day, isn't that all that matters.

In the same sentence you said there's no proof it makes any profit and that you can guarantee it costs a fortune. Thats some mental gymnastics...

No you don't , you can't answer the question so you then get personal , you do it all the time , it is boring  , answer the simple question ,

You are really childish at times , maybe grow up and have an adult debate for a change ?

Maybe the boss (Comcast) tells Sky what to do, it is not beyond you to understand that it is so cost effective having already having been paid for it will be utilised.

That's great deduction Harry but the end result is what matters.

That isn't the point Tommy , somebody raised the supposed high profile and success of NA sports in this country , when in fact , they pay for it , have been doing for decades and costing  millions

Don't go ' ginger John ' on us

If they have bigger profile and support from a the biggest UK sports broadcaster than RU and RL I think thats a pretty good indicator of success on its own.

So, to clarify, you’ve got the number of games wrong, you’ve got all the details of any broadcast deals wrong or are just guessing, you’re ignoring any and all facts relating to the popularity of the game and any and all facts relating to participation.

So it’s not a debate, is it? Just you repeating the same lie about three road games etc etc

You really are getting very sad Ginger.

I’m not the one pretending to care about whole game solutions but really only moping about what plays best for one club in one small town.

My proof is they have a dedicated TV channel people scroll to before they'll ever get to any RL for example.
