Thanks for the analysis. It makes sense. Given the predictability of their attack, they are going to have to do something differently to score more points, as that was a issue in quite a few games last year.

Do you think more French Lads would help?

I know it was an end of season game, however didn't 13 French men in the 17 away to Hull prefrom rather well at the end of last season?

I don't think so, Albert and morgue played well the last game of the season together but where left to play with no pressure and did as they wanted. But would the coach use the two instead of drinkwater and maloney? I don't see any French players who could make a difference, when casty and BOUSQUET went off and kasiano came on it lifted but when kasiano went off again  the middle was Garcia, baitieri and Simon, which worked hard but no real punch on attack

Langi went off for a head knock, and mead went off too, so at one point the centres where Whitley and Julien, and to be fair it was bad decisions and pace  from Romana for one and Whitley for another try or break before a try

Happy with the result and to see rainbow laces on show. Every team that plays Catalans can draw motivation from doing the right thing for the game. As they have pretty much no interest in French players, the game would be better off with Catalans leaving our competition and Toulouse stepping in.

They did the same set up play 3 times in a row and each time Senior got past Romano but tbf there were 4 on 3 each time.

The last try is definitely more on Jomkins. He stays a couple meters behind the line, doesn't shoot on the carrier, doesn't close the distance, makes it so much easier.

Would anyone like to praise us for an extremely good performance in a very tricky opening fixture where we ground down the opposition, attacked their weaknesses very well, had 2 excellent half backs who completely outplayed their opposites and had forwards who dominated and backs who were faster and more skillful than their opposites or was it just down to how the dragons' culture is terrible and M.Guasch's meat is of a poor standard lately?

I think most people would recognise it as a good result, but it is hard to praise something you haven't seen.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

A major bonus for us on Saturday, was the experience that came off the bench.

Not since the league leaders shield season have we most probably had that strong a bench to choose from.

Not since then that we have started a season with less than half the team crocked.?

Dont expect anything from a pig but a grunt
