Salford lacking discipline and concentration.

Saints looking to pick up where they were at the end of the season.

As for the play the ball, how hard is to to gain your feet before putting the ball down

At halftime, Watson needs to tell:

  - Lolohea to let Brown run the show

 - Welham and Sarginson that they've got wingers outside them.

 - the referee that there's two sides capable of giving penalties away.

I think it will take more than everyone of these ideas.

Plenty of effort from Salford, but they lack coherence. St Helens start the season with barely a hint of rust. An impressive and intimidating opening to the season.

Just watching the interviews. Sky should leave the player names up during the interviews

If we want our players to be becone household names then people to need to put names to faces.

Casual watchers would have no idea who our players are.

Just a thought.

Rugby Union the only game in the world were the spectators handle the ball more than the players.

Ok Salford arnt the Roosters and the Roosters are favourites for the WCC - but anyone who says Saints have no chance against them dont know a top top RL team when they see one.

Really looking forward to the WCC.

Don’t think we can win the game, but it won’t be like last time.

Burns/Wilkin halves, Vea/Greenwood back row, KC coach . . . . this team is a different prospect.

hopefully we give it a proper go.

Really promising start with Roby, Makinson and Knowles to come back in.

I’m sure Salford will improve and hope they do. I think we will be tough to beat again but still very very early days. We could easily lose the next two (away to wire and hull)

No. But I live in hope.

Crowd given as 12,000 - not too bad.

Not sure of the Hull KR crowd but think Leeds is now a sell out. About 15,000 at Wigan, should be good at Catalans.

Yes great news. I’m sure some people on here will still be able to put a negative spin on that though.

Hull KR have sold 6,000 season tickets so they must have got 8,000+ last night. Yet some posters on this forum still think they are of no value to SL.
