Coventry postponed???????????

The Challenge Cup takes precedence over league games, so I guess, in the absence of a mid-week game, we could play York Acorn next Sunday. Weather and pitch permitting and Dale are home Saturday - or perhaps at Mayfield. The draw for the 4th round (22/23 Feb) is tonight as is the Women’s 1st round, where Hornets will be ball 10. The Mayfield games are probably because of the annual pitch remedials. Workington?

Latest: We are planning to play the YorkAcorn cup tie 16/2, but the ground is currently being assessed after a battering in the weekend deluge. Looking at the week’s forecast and with Dale’s match Saturday, it surely must be still doubtful at the Crown?

You could put money on Spotland being unfit ñext Sunday and the Coventry ground being like a bowling green.
