with the supposed quality in the wire camp that should have built to a 60 point  drubbing, if I was a warrington fan I would be asking questions about price and some of the players

St George-Illawarra fans were asking a lot of questions about Steve Price a couple of years ago. But nevertheless Warrington hired him.

Not at all. I’m enjoying it very much, especially the new-found humility from our Canadian cousins.

Well just back, and unlucky Toronto you deserved something from that game. And I believe you will soon start winning.

You’ll be annoyed when they start winning though.

Possibly pull out your seat counting card then?

Now that's more like it. A close loss that could have gone either way depending on how the ball bounces. They're still rather sloppy handling the ball but that's part of what makes them so entertaining. They certainly seemed to impress the BBC announcers (as an aside does anyone else on this side of the pond notice that after a couple of minutes you don't even notice their accents?)

As the weather warms up the boys will start completing those passes and hang onto the ball. Still not a threat for the title or probably even the playoffs but they'll finish comfortably out of the relegation zone.

They make ‘em tough in England 😉

You ain't seen tough until you've seen an NHL game between 2 long-time rivals.

When? 🤣🤣🤣

Oh, I thought you were a fan.

FWIW I think Toronto are a poor side but they might just have enough to finish above Hull KR, possibly Wakefield too. And if Wakefield and their practically derelict ground went down, I’d shed no tears.

I can confirm they were surprised based on some of the conversations I had down there but you have to balance that with the view of Super League held down under. Being a winning Super League coach is not viewed as having the gravitas associated with being a coaching assistant at a top NRL Club when it comes to hiring.

They are very good...they just beat one of the top SL teams in Toronto.

They smashed Saints recently and lost narrowly away at Wigan with 12 men. Other than the Wakey game they’ve been decent.

I agree and would go one further. I would suggest that Toronto Wolfpack is not only “one of the top SL teams in Toronto.” The Wolfpack is undoubtedly the best Super League team in Toronto.

Losing to Wakefield, and narrowly beating a side with a pack of forwards that belong in the championship.

Pretty good I’d say, considering it’s a Friday night in bad weather and not many away fans. More than Wigan would have got anyway 😉
