Absolutely fantastic performance.

Cresswell, Toal, Singleton, Johnston, Morrow, Toal, Tyson, McBain, Hopkins and Terrill all produced by our amateur clubs got beat by a team who have won their 1st 2 championship games and contained a couple of top quality SL players and several experienced championship players.

We should have won, but we need to take the positives into next week. It shows that the team looked gutted walking off today. Few standouts were Ryan Johnston who was targeted in defence but stood up well, Tom Hopkins seemed to dominate in attack and defence and the back 3 were flawless.

The way I look at it is Featherston had both Sucino & Paratta on the field both will be on big bucks

Those guys wanted bigger & better things no disrespect to Featherston but just dont see them more than making up the numbers in Div 1

2 players in question + Wats has allowed Barrow to gamble & sign 4 decent amateurs who will be absalute class for Barrow & future years

It's going to be tough year but I believe the town will get behind these local lads who will produce the goods I'm sure.

Dont be quick to get on a downer when your team struggles as was the case when you struggled with Skolars. Barrow were unlucky not to post a second consecutive victory at Post Office Road. Fev lost to Barrow and Dewsbury at home last season and ended up in the Grand Final. Enjoy the ups and downs its part of sport. Well done Barrow.

Never understood the negativity last week, conditions throughout the country were levelling games out. We were complaining about beating Skolars by 20 points in winds enabling 100m goal line drop outs whilst Workington and Doncaster were both nearly beaten by amatauer sides.
