India should have been dominating Cricket cricket for decades, rarely losing a testing match or world cup. In football it would be dominated by India, China, USA; overiously it is not. In terms of playing numbers only 2 countries in the top ten have even made it to a world cup semi-final, by contrast Croatia have competed in 5 World Cups making to the semi-final once and the last time they made it to the final, if playing numbers coming into they would not even qualify for the world cup. It does make you wonder how a SL French Pro like Yaha would be if he had been playing in NZ from the age of 10 and vice versa with a average NRL player from Auckland. Different sport but would you say Croatia have better coaching and playing structures than England though? I’d say not, and possibly that is why they’re better at football then us. Technically they have been been better players than those representing England since they became an International team. In terms of structures, I would guess that the opportunities in Croatia at level 1 & 2 are better than in the EPL and Championship. Natural ethnic genetics plays a huge part. If you pick a rugby league team from a random group of 1,000 Tongans in comparison to 1,000 Chinese (all aged 20 - 30 who have never played rugby), on average, the random Tongan team would destroy the Chinese team. Tongans are naturally bigger, stronger and more explosive with fast twitch muscle fibers. More suited to rugby league. Same with Indians. On average the asian counties body composition isn't as naturally athletic in comparison to Caucasians, African, Polynesian etc. Since 1900, Michael Phelps has won more olympic gold medals than than all of India combined.
