Sheffield vs Town

Challenge cup week is back.. Do we put a full squad out hoping for a W to hopefully get a dream tie. Or do we put fringe players out.

Going on the assumption we go full strength and the pitch at Doncaster is grass I see us winning by 8. They've at least 5 1st team players injured and Joel Farrell out banned.

Awfully quiet about today's game. Any squad news? Any commentary anywhere?

Today will be another marker as to where we are as a Team playing Sheffield from a higher League , think we need to approach it as West Bowling did up here with full commitment and not afraid to chance our arm and play a bit of Rugby .

Full match on Radio Cumbria apparently.

Is it? It isn’t listed on bbc sport website as one of the games with commentary and bbc Cumbria haven’t got anything on their twitter advertising the game as they normally do.

I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimension, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave Hadfield - Independent 25th August 1996.
