The double header next week

Following todays announcement regarding the availability of Bootham Crescent this week, there must now be a great concern over the ground being available for next weeks double header unless there is a dramatic improvement with regard to Coronavirus. What should have been a highlight in the fixture calendar that would have seen massive publicity and revenue for the Knights, now looks like being a damp squib through absolutely  no fault of the club.

Would it be an idea to reverse the two league games against Featherstone and play the double header at their ground Coronavirus permitting?  Who knows, the CommunityStadium may even be ready by the time we play the home game.

There maybe no games next weekend at all, its just a case of wait and see, hope fish n chips Friday is not cancelled in 2 weeks.

Don't think there's any chance of games continuing for months .

NRL are playing behind closed doors next weekend and then reviewing the situation. If they still stream the games viewing figures will go through the roof! There was a good idea proposed I don't know if possible of having 2 stadiums in use over a weekend and playing the fixtures back to back magic weekend style with players staying with families in hotels. Could work for professional clubs.
