Mark Champman is a great presenter (by BBC standards), does anyone know if he’s actually a RL fan?

I'd always assumed he was because of his presenting style. According to his Wiki page he's an Hull FC fan

100% League 0% Union

Just because I don't know doesn't mean I don't understand

I think he's primarily a Football fan, but also got into RL while studying at the University of Hull. He certainly enjoys the game.

BTW, he's currently interviewing Shaun Wane on BBC Radio 5 (for iPlayer users, the interview started at about 12:45pm).

I went to all those finals

The Wigan v Hull was the best in my opinion.

Also in reply to another thread. Whatever happened to  Mornflake Oats and John Bull beer kits?

I bet Nathan Graham's skipping this bit of the programme...

This is how I view Cup Final day. Bright sunshine, packed crowd and a spectacle. What we have now is a shadow of the Challenge Cup.

Probably because new Wembley is about 3 times as tall

The difference in atmosphere between the last two games is amazing, is that the difference between all seater stadium and standing? I've no idea! Maybe the BBC don't film the crowd as much now?

It is as much to do with the ambient sound recording as where the cameras point. Sound can make a huge difference to the perceived atmosphere.

A great set of finals, topped off with a tribute to Frank Myler.
