I think this is unnecessarily cruel. You've included sufficient material here that will enable the fantasists to knock out a crafty one, but by failing to include some kind of Newcastle entity, you've basically left them hanging on the vinegar strokes. Please correct this oversight before some of them suffer serious and lasting damage to their facial muscles.

If we’re playing fantasy and not bothering about the finances of the game, I think we’re at the optimum amount of teams in Super League right now. That doesn’t mean we should stick to twelve forever, mind.

Super League - Castleford Tigers, Catalans Dragons, Huddersfield Giants, Hull FC, Hull KR, Leeds Rhinos, Salford Red Devil’s, St Helens, Toronto Wolfpack, Wakefield Trinity, Warrington Wolves, Wigan Warriors.

I’d look to do the same with the second tier, though, given more time, I’d come up with a more imaginative name than Super League II. I think here’s where you can be more imaginable and throw in some wild cards that wouldn’t normally be there.

2nd Div - Toulouse Olympique, Leigh Centurions, London Broncos, Featherstone Rovers, York City Knights, Newcastle Thunder, Bradford Bulls, Widnes Vikings, Halifax, Sheffield Eagles, Coventry Bears, Ottawa Aces.

Both leagues would play 23 games (11 H&A and a Magic Weekend) before a play-off to determine the winner of Super League. I’d have two Magic Weekends back to back with 3 games from Super League and 3 three from the second tier at each venue.

Not sure on P&R, maybe an PPG over a three year period, maybe just the old fashioned way. Not sure on that.

I love how parochial some of you are - putting the Yorkshire and Lancashire/Cheshire/Merseyside/Greater Manchester in different rows, like it actually matters.

There’s nothing parochial about that.
