Not a great Batley side but some useful players on their books that season including Billy Allan, Brendan Cummings, Ian Douglas, Henry Oulton, Alan Tonks, Neil Pickerill, and not forgetting Paul Storey and Carl Gibson.

So Elvis played at centre for us then went on to be a ref.

He spoke well of batley when he officiated a pennine game I played in 2011.

If Tony martin goes round again in super league he must be the oldest official

'Shaw cross juniors, Birkenshaw, Mirfield, Heckmondwike Panthers, Stainland Stags and then the Heavy woolen donkeys... WARDY, STOZZA, GT, KARL OR KEAR MUST OF DROPPED A DIGIT FROM MY MOBILE NUMBER! :clapping:

It is difficult to tell, but I thought that 11 was Wattie.
