I thought so in the Autumn tour, I think that he will have pulled on his last International jersey, there are younger and fitter lads deserving a place now, but if so thanks James it has been a pleasure watching you.

I remember Roach playing for Wire—- if he says Graham has gone, then things must be bad. Seriously though, Graham has been a star over many years but imho, it’s been fading over the last few seasons— hope he hangs his boots up soon cos I would hate to see him start getting smashed by all the new kids on the block

What I don't understand about Graham is that in the last few years half of his game has been taken away from him.

He has always had a great engine and work rate but he is also one of the most skillful props in the game.  His ball handling is very good for a big man and he is capable of laying on tries or throwing a pass for a line break... just a quick Google search on his Canterbury career shows a video like the one below - from 2 minutes 10 seconds you can see some of the great handling.

But in the last few years this part of his game has just disappeared and it must have been coached out of him.

Wearing the 13 jersey for St George he could easily be playing the same type of handling role that Jake Trbojevic has for Manly but he is being used as a straight up and down middle forward and is simply not as effective without that pass threat.

Absolutely fine player for many years.

He will know better than anyone if and when enough is enough.

I`m not sure I agree with the second bit, he seems to me the kind of player who has played through pain and injury for years so will just keep going until he cant actually get on the pitch anymore, though I really hope I`m wrong.

Don't disagree with you at all.

He’s took a lot of head knocks and had neck problems as well and he just looks more n more busted . I hope he walks away . He could do it now for me , and I don’t mean that in a derogatory way . He’s done more than a great shift over a long time .

I think Roach is right he does need someone to tell him it's time to end it, thoughts of coming back here for a payday seem ridiculous, I think his body has taken enough and is probably telling him so yet he is (stubbornly) playing through it, with the number of head knocks he's taken that's not very wise.

Valhalla.
