Gerard Sutton Quarantined

Recommended Posts

NRL referee Gerard Sutton has been quarantined. This coronavirus scare came a day after he had reffed the game between Penrith and South Sydney.

It was The Daily Telegraph that published the story today saying Sutton was tested and placed in isolation after someone at his child’s high school tested positive for COVID-19.

It’s not suggested anyone else involved in the Panthers and Rabbitohs game will have to be tested or isolated.

NRL’s head of football Graham Annesley expects Sutton to be unavailable “for a couple of weeks”.
