Mike Bishay of London Skolars works for Sky on their Rugby League coverage. I’d be interested to know in more detail what he does.

Dave Redfearn is an electrician for the broadcasts.

Former Widnes player and Fulham and Warrington player-coach Reg Bowden was a diesel fitter (I'd imagine that he's retired now).

Reg had a window company for a while , did a bit of business with him

Green Vigo.... well, I don't know what his other jobs were, although I heard he drove taxis for a while. But he is also the namesake of a band.

Past or present

I know Brian Noble was a policeman when the game was semi-pro?

Isn't there a current Halifax player who makes cakes in his shop?

Anyone got any other good ones?

Dan Fleming makes cakes.

I'll try them in the peace Hall if the away game happens this year

It's actually the Piece Hall, where, pre-Industrial revolution, cloth was bought, treated and sold. Some of the workers had a job where they used to arrive carrying a bucket of the family's wee to wash the pieces of cloth before sale.

Phil McKenzie is a physiotherapist in Warrington, a bloody good one too.

Ex Wire prop Gary Chambers is headmaster of a school in Bolton.

Andy Platt is an estate agent in Queensland, also owns a couple of hotels.

I’m not prejudiced, I hate everybody equally
