With McIlorum and Samkins back, with Folua on form that will be too much for Wakey. Looking forward to the Gigot v Samkins duel

David Mead back too.  I think Les Dracs by about ten points.

Catalans bringing in the big guns Wakey resting some of theirs.  Clearly different priorities.

This world was never meant for one as beautiful as me.

Real shame to hear of Tom Johnstone's latest injury. Wakefield have publicly stated that the Challenge Cup is their priority this year, meanwhile Catalans priority will be the league. Fancy a comfortable Catalans win here, but a much closer affair in the Cup.

Well if Catalan do not arrive in UK before 4.00am Saturday morning game off I presume.

The BBC report that they have an exemption.

There isn’t an issue entering, it’s returning.

Not sure I get what you mean. From Sunday people entering Britain from certain countries ( France included ) have to quarantine for two weeks. Unless as stated the RFL have gained an exemption for them.

The RFL requested an exemption for Catalans a few weeks ago not sure what’s happened but hopefully it’s all sorted.

The exemption for the SL competition has been in place since the sports exemptions were published way back in July. They are allowed to travel to/from point of entry to the UK to/from training facilities and competition venue (but not other places such as a restaurant) without the need to quarantine.

As SL17 says there may be issues going back to France depending on if the French Gov put restrictions in place

No Relegation to worry about and play out off, be ready to expect more of the same as this period of play carries on, all those who wish to see the end of P&R are delusional if they think it is going to improve the spectacle on the pitch.

Anyway Catalan by two scores at least.

Does this not cover Catalans?

International elite sportspersons and essential support staff participating in a UK elite sports event listed in the Health Protection (Coronavirus, International Travel) (England) Regulations 2020 (as amended)

You’ll need to complete the Public Health passenger locator form before you travel to the UK.

You’ll need to self-isolate for the remainder of the 14 days since you were last in a non-exempt country. You can leave your accommodation to travel directly to and attend the listed elite sports event you are participating in with other elite sports persons and essential support staff. Travelling between multiple venue locations for the sports event or training is also permitted.

Yeah, but the French govt are considering reinstating their 2 week quarantine for people travelling from the UK in their usual ###### for tat approach which I think is very silly (at the moment the UK actually has a lower rate of infection than many countries in Europe, including France).
