Id usually give an honest assesment of any player leaving us but honestly even though he played a few games for us I really didn't notice him that much. To be fair to the player thats not a bad thing in defence and in attack we have not had a centre who got the ball to his winger in a number of years. So in that sense its pointless us paying what I would assume to be decent money to someone not involved in the game.

absolutely superb signing.

just need a half decent centre that can give him the ball....something we haven't had for a long time....or else it's a complete waste.

Keenan Tomlinson or Lewis Galbraith aren't that player.

just a thought.

Keenan away to Sheffield hopefully?

Yep jodie a very very useful addition delighted. Perhaps rettie set for hunslet or shams?

'Shaw cross juniors, Birkenshaw, Mirfield, Heckmondwike Panthers, Stainland Stags and then the Heavy woolen donkeys... WARDY, STOZZA, GT, KARL OR KEAR MUST OF DROPPED A DIGIT FROM MY MOBILE NUMBER! :clapping:

Come on Marc, he's not that bad! As a utility he covered many positions and seldom let us down. I for one would keep him if we could as he'll get better I reckon just needed some game time. Galbraith too is not a bad player, when he keeps his temper, just a shame he isn't a little bigger but he punches above his weight that's for sure! I don't see us replacing all the squad we don't have the brass, but a bit of quality and I reckon Linners can mould a decent team that can take us a little higher in the table than recent seasons.

Couple of centres and a halfback and a hooker and we should be OK for next season

Just discussing that with my son. I would be OK with Galbraith in the centre and one other, but agree, one more hooker, one more half back and we will be good to go!

If we've kept White and the suggestion of DannyY going back to Hornets proved untrue, are we keeping young Ineson, would you want another no6 or utility? Tomlinson is worth a shirt for versatility alone, maybe not the quickest over more than 20 yards but powerful enough near the line, covers 2nd row well and tackles. Would like another prolonged look at Pick n Blagborough, neither got into their stride in only 6 games.

Undoubtedly keenan getting close to the heart and utility value of brev but come on.

Lads who aren't centre get caught out likewise second rows are a specialised beast. Once a season is enough but why persist and expect diff results. We love retts returns but too slow and not agile enough now for a true winger.

Lewis is a centre still looks fast and a cert keeper. All opinions and subjective.

Imagine mannings response at being asked to play centre for 6 games!!!

Yes but you suggested that you would like KT to leave. Would you want the if Manning was constantly played out of position?

Keenan too much of an average Joe for me. Ok he is stuck between being to slow for one aspect of the game and not big/strong/ battle hardned enough for another.

I wouldn't bemoan rettie moving into back row as he wins collision still has pace for middles etc. But Wayne playing a wingers game nah

Jodie scored 5 tries in 4 games for Halifax. Hope he’s as unnoticeable for us!!

That surprised me as I could not remember a single one so I had to watch the highlights to jog my memory. These clips might give you an idea what to expect, could call it scoring 2 and conceding 3.

To use a Phildogism, I might get shot down for this, but how classless of you. I almost admire the lengths you have gone to find highlights of a player who has left your club to show how poor he is. Well done, we were almost allowed to get excited for a moment!

For what it is worth, I hope he rams that attitude back down your throats when we play you.
