What’s the situation over here? We have tag and touch. Are any of them affiliated with the RFL? Are there any organised Leagues? Do any community clubs run teams adults or juniors?

Try Tag Rugby is affiliated with RFL. Over 10000 players across 16 locations (from Edinburgh to Brighton) and multiple leagues. I play in the Coventry and Wawickshire league which has around 500 players i think. There are others on here who play in different leagues

Touch has the NTS National Touch League. Wigan are in that.

There is DNTS development series and locally to me the ERDS league which Saracens are in.

Lots of growth in touch and the recent University champs and last summers world cups were great for getting eyes on the sport.

And the touch community is getting really excited about the prospect of our game being in the 2032 Olympics in Brisbane thanks to the NRLs support.

Touch footy in the Olympics would be great. The argument against it, of course, is it would be all guaranteeing gold medals to Australia.

Not if the coaches or players I have spoken to or worked with have a say on it.

The England junior touch pathway is filling with talent who will be the right age come 2032.

Keep the faith

There doesn’t seem to be anywhere to play around the Calderdale/Kirklees area.
Id like to see community clubs running touch sections, juniors and open age

Forty-20 reporting that the NRL is “looking to buy Touch and Tag here - currently owned by the RFL - as they see that as the quickest entry into the US market and Asia”.

Try tag is a private organisation and not owned by the RFL, it just works in partnership with it. It was originally set up by Phil Browne of Mascord Brownz but not sure who owns it now. There are different touch organisations in the UK none owned by the RFL. In short this is nonsense.

As an aside I do think tag and other non contact types are the future of the sport. Tag Rugby has exploded in the UK and Ireland and very likely will spread to other countries too.

I wish all the different Touch and Tag  be under one roof.

Me too. Should all be under the RFL umbrella.

Part of the Rugby League DNA now.

"The WA Government will also work with the Club and ARLC to grow junior participation in the game, including expanding formal touch, tag and tackle rugby league programs in Western Australia’s public schools."

This is how to introduce and grow the game.
