RL's Tallest Player XIII

Well, it follows on logically from the other thread, right?

First nomination - while he usually played in other positions, Bradford did, on at least one occasion (probably due to injuries), pick Karl Pryce at stand-off. I doubt there's been a taller one.

Nathan Cleary is 6 foot which has to be one of tallest scrum halves there has been.

Didn’t Karl Pryce once get named at 7 for a world club challenge for the Bulls. That would be exceptionally tall for a scrum half

Barrie-Jon Mather in the centre.

Would be more interesting though to limit the conversation to players who featured in the position frequently.

By memory Brett Mullins was pretty tall for a career full back.

Yes 6' 3". As is Adam Doueihi who regularly plays full back for Wests.

If he did then he probably wins for tallesr scrum half. Otherwise Paul Cooke must have been named at 7 a few times in his career?

Oh, maybe it was scrum half instead - I just remember him playing in the halves at some point.

Just looked up Nick Fozzard's height, and was surprised he was only 6 foot 2. I guess he looked taller because he had a lanky build.

Brendan Hill (Bradford & Keighley) in the pack, naturally. Maybe Barrie-Jon Mather on the wing?
