Blind side johnny
Huddersfield prefer second-rate Aussies. Sport, amongst other things, is a dream-world offering escape from harsh reality and the disturbing prospect of change.
spanishknight
Why would he want to go there?, he's full time with a great chairman coaching a squad he's built going into a state of the art modern stadium, fans will give him time to progress and not demanding he gets the sack because hes not at the top of the league unlike at the Giants, stay Fordy we love you. We have a much better stadium - They have Odsal. We have much better facilities We have Fordy. They have two skulls We will finish above the Bulls - again They will probably end up overspending resulting in players been offloaded before the season is out. Beer and York Knights. He has been in the setup as a player and coach and knows Huddersfield which helps. I said it before when Fordy was linked to Hull KR he hasnt ever coached in the Super League or coached a full time team. He is undoubtedly a talent but would always be a gamble to a Super League side. If he was going to take a job in Super League Fordy would be better having a setup similar to Wakey did a few season ago with Chris Chester as Head Coach and assistant/mentor John Kear. He played well on Saturday in the final till he got injured, think he'll do a great job for the Knights, id have him as assistant coach to Fordy. Jesus you get a new ground (is it finished yet and signed off) and a few super league has-beens and you think your entitled to a place at the top table, earn the right on the field, not in an empty stadium with a few old men toddling about on the pitch, there's a few further up the pecking order before York who have absolutely zip chance as going up as the 12th team... Good heavens, YCK finish third in the Championship, Toronto are yesterday's news, does Super League really want two out of its twelve teams to be French?
