Former CEO at Catalans Dragons for a decade  or so linking up at his original club Olympique Avignon. With his experience and contacts should help the Vaucluse club to happier days. Hope so.

"It involves matters much greater than drafting the new rules...the original and existing games have their own powerful appeal to their players and public and have the sentiments which history inspires"  - Harold 'Jersey' Flegg 1933

Si tu( Remi Casty) devais envoyer un fax au Président Guasch? " Un grand bravo pour ce que vous avez fait,et merci de m 'avoir embarqué dans cette aventure"

Good news. I always hoped he would take charge at Avignon. With all his experience of running a SL club and Avignon's potential it's a perfect match. I don't expect anything but good things.

It will be interesting to see what happens now at the club. Stay tuned!!

I’d love to see Avignon become one of France’s top clubs. I used to want more French teams in our system but now I’d like to see a stronger not weaker Elite 1.

Great news. An asset to the French game and a lovely fella. Potentially the best hair in all of SL boardrooms.

He took myself and a couple of colleagues on a bit of a wine tour to sample the excellence of Avignon’s Chateuneauf du Pape. An experience never to forget.
