I would post pics but I'm on my tablet and it won't let me post big picture files.

For some reason the Hull 2021 playing shorts don't have the Johnny Whitely branding, which seems rather silly.

One kit, two different team logos.

Our new shirt is really fantastic. There is one thing that could have made it even better (other than having no sponsors but that obviously isn't going to happen with modern shirts) and that thing is if the badge had been a sown on patch like on olden day shirts. I presume this is why they have put the badge in a white box, as a nod to this style, but yeah, make the shirt cotten and have the badge as a patch and you've got the greatest Hull FC shirt since the olden days.

Yeah I liked when they did this, it was a one year only thing though?

Tbf i think it was from the 2017 season onwards. I don't remember us having it in 2016 but vaguely remember us saints and Wigan wearing it since.

The more I see of that the more I like it. May be the best one we've had dare I say in the SL era (and we've had some decent ones). I dont buy shirts very often these days but I might make an exception for this.

I'm guessing that old style badge will just be for this season to commemorate Whiteley, rather than an actual change of the badge. And I would imagine the away shirt will just be the normal one aswell.

the fact it is just black and white and no other colours in the sponsors logos really works. waiting for the Widnes rainbow this year 🤣

I don't mind a little red on a Widnes shirt. The year where there was green was pretty bad.

I was born to run a club like this. Number 1, I do not spook easily, and those who think I do, are wasting their time, with their surprise attacks.

Absolute stunner love that. The badge especially.

The only downside for me is they should’ve sized the badge to fit within the larger white band so as not to break the two black lines.

They did that on purpose so it looks like the old school stitched on badges from Johnny Whiteley's day.

Stunning shirt!

I like that to be honest, I think because it's intentionally jarring it works and draws attention to the badge.

I think we've done that for 3 years now, had the sponsors all black and white.

I think it's a good idea.

I remember some years back the prevailing wisdom appeared to be that three colours on a shirt / club colours presented better marketing  potential. But I think that's a load of tosh, well done Hull FC
