If people are so offended by it, why not report it to the police, rather than try to ban him from rugby? Probably because it wouldn't get anywhere and so they're trying to politicise the game by proposing bans based on expressed opinions that don't match their political ideal. The Blues Ox Posted October 15, 2020 Share Posted October 15, 2020 Im undecided on what should have been the outcome in regards to Halifax's stance but I am pleased that he volunteered for the course he went on as I don't think educating people is a bad thing. Maybe Halifax should look at their social media policy when it comes to players moving forward though. Saying that its not rocket science to most people that it would be a stupid thing to tweet. Education, public apology, disciplinary action and a club statement to show how serious they take this stuff would show strong leadership. When you think of the tiny percentage of BAME players in the current game that stood out like a sore thumb ie why were there not dozens of critical tweets from white players?
