Sorry I hadn’t realised that the capacity had remained at 12,000 when the new stand opened.

it opened bang on time to see Leeds at the bottom of the league  don't suppose that's anything to do with it  although still had the highest average attendances for the season  in super league .

add to that the fact that the north stand was still under development so yes capacity was still reduced and the absence of corporate facilities   for that season will account for around a reduction of 1500-2000  a game on what could be expected

That’s fine, if the club think a 25% drop off is ok and they’ll come flooding back when Leeds are doing well again. Not sure what’s happened at Wigan though.

well that close on 2000 corporate seats per game will mostly come back as long as the companies have not gone bust in the mean time so that's quite a large jump I would think .

Leeds v hull  5th Feb. 2020 attendance 19,500  full house due to reduced capacity . seems its still possible to get a good crowd in for a top fixture

Wigan who knows maybe ts the style of play

Tbf that was a double header with Toronto v Cas on earlier. What is interesting is that a Televised Thursday night game against Toronto got a higher crowd than an untelevised Friday night game against a reasonably well followed Hull KR.

There is a clear demand for the Toronto product and this has been proven many many times over, both by bums in the seat and TV audiences.....why some refuse to accept this clear fact is really beyond rational belief.

I think thats the point. Irrationality is a perfectly normal and intrinsic part of human nature, but shouldn't be denied its role.
