The ball rolled round Powell's elbow. To me  thats a knock on. The Brains Trust say technically it was a try because it was over the try line.

The Laws for the Game say its a try you are ranting i the wrong direction.

You can all rant all you want according to the Laws of the game it is a try.

There was a clear gap between Powell's arm and the ball as he lost control yet it's a try?

I appreciate you're always right but I think you're wrong.

Then they need to be changed, as that was such an obvious knock on that it makes the sport look a joke.

Its been like that for a hundred years. Write to the RFL and tell them they have a ###### law for years.

If that happened on the 20 metre line it would have been a knock on and no one would have any reason for complaining

Has it? Where specifically does it say you can drop the ball in the act of scoring and it still be a try?

It’s very strange to have a consensus  that if it’s in general play it’s a knock on ... but in the ingoal it’s a try . Whatever the laws , interpretations like that just make the game look ridiculous . It needs changing to control of the ball because what we see up here to often are just comical try decisions . He lost that ball and that seemed hundred percent clear

I haven't passed an opinion on the try/no try I have only pointed out that as things stand its a try.

Ref sent it up as a try, the video didn't conclusively show seperation, therefor can't turn it over.

It mat be ###### but it is what it is.

You are jumping to conclusions again.

The ball was in his hand when trying to ground the ball, and he ended up grounding with the elbow. Seems pretty straightforward
