Always interesting to see comments from people who claimed earlier that they had, in disgust, switched off the match, or even given up on RL altogether. It keeps the thread busy.

Well, it wasn't aimed at you, but there are some who claim to storm away from RL "FOREVER!!!" on a weekly basis but never quite manage to do it.

In a situation where the ball is on the floor, then a player hits it with their hand and the ball bounces away. In goal it's a clear try, the rest of the field it's a knock on. So we need to have different rules for in / out of goal.

As for the decision, for me, there probably was separation but the image wasn't clear enough to show it so refs made the right call under the current laws but I'd rather we changed the laws so it wouldn't be.

Because at the moment the hand touches the ball the game stops for the try. Elsewhere it is technically play on

How can it go from his hand to his elbow and not have any separation !  He should be in Vegas with David Copperfield if he can do that to gravity

The notion that it could is utterly absurd.

Hard to compete with the money angle.   Hastings & French will be on more than Salfords 1-7 & bench - Fact of life not complaining

And according to a chap called "rumours", they will both be off back Down Under as soon as the season ends. Life goes on.

A Pearl double! I haven't seen Wigan this focused and cohesive in quite a lot of rounds.

How many of those does Farrell score? Ridiculous strike rate for a back rower.

He runs some superb lines.

Why, the laws of physics say the opposite..

Only a lack of size has stopped him from being an all time great imo

Once again, we notice that Bevan French is quite quick.

When you're not playing against him he's a joy to watch.

Can't fault the effort from Salford but Wigan are playing at a speed they can't handle.
