Get the latest on the Wigan Warriors squad ahead of Friday’s Betfred Super League action with the Holts Injury Update.

Adrian Lam’s side will travel to St Helens’ Totally Wicked Stadium to take on Salford Red Devils, (K.O. 5:30pm) as they endeavour to cement a place in the top four.

Wednesday’s 21-man squad announcement gave a good indication of the players available for Friday’s bout. You can see the 21-man squad in full at the bottom of this page.

Experienced forward George Burgess returned to the 21, having not featured for the Warriors since Round 12 away to Catalans Dragons due to a hip injury.

Speaking ahead of the game, Head Coach Adrian Lam discussed the English international’s chances of featuring this Friday.

“He’s very close to playing, whether it’s this week or the next. We will make a decision on him on game day.”

After returning for selection last week, prop-forward Tony Clubb is again available and looking to make his return to action this weekend.

The experienced forward has not featured since early March, spending time on the sidelines recovering from a neck injury. If he does appear this weekend, he will make his 150th appearance for the Warriors.

There was less positive news for Club captain Sean O’Loughlin, with the loose-forward missing out on the 21-man squad.

Updating on his situation, Lam said: “Lockers is out. He’s just got a hamstring strain, so he’s not being considered this week. He will be one or two weeks away with that.”

Youngster Ethan Havard continues to recover from an ankle injury first sustained against Leeds Rhinos in Wigan’s Coral Challenge Cup Semi Final defeat.
