Missed most of the game. Just seen Inu try.  Expect Saints to try everything in last 90 secs.

They got damn close. Another good tackle by the Sarge stopped a late win.

Really good game. Saints very very competitive with that side; really impressed with the likes of Eaves, Wingfield and Dodd. Saints showed their inexperience at times (Nesbitt and Simm) but very bright future for some of those players.

Sarginson excellent and deserved MoM.

Major errors by each of the Saints wingers proving crucial in the end.

This world was never meant for one as beautiful as me.

Was that a youthful St Helens side! FFS

??? Seriously???

Walmsley, Graham, Paulo and Peyroux the only ones who aren’t... maybe Batchelor?!

Even your coach has said a young Saints side on TV!

Well done Salford. Great effort considering their workload.

Good effort from our youngsters there, Eaves, Foster and Nisbet (brain fart aside) in particular didn't look out of place at SL level and apart from a few poor kicks in the second half Dodd looks a good prospect. Welsby disappointed again.

But for a few moments of youthful naivete we'd have been well in front so hopefully they'll take a lot from the experience regardless of the result.

Champion bloke. No wonder people want to go into battle for him. Chuffed that it appears he is staying at Salford although I am sure rumours will now start about waiting on a job at Wigan, Warrington or even Saints in future. Good luck to him and Salford.

Yeah agree totally. Even the way he handled himself in the interview was so professional, humble and respectful to both Salford and Hull.

I don’t doubt it was a young side. But do we really need to be told a hundred times?
