But would they have as many home fans?

Should a club rely on away fans or should a club try to have their own support.

Imagine if old trafford had an away stands for 60k with 12k home support...

Once again you are being undebatable

No, Toronto effectively withdrew from the league.

If I pack my job in, I wouldn't expect my employers to set me on the next year

Actually, in these covid times, thats exactly what they asked of people who couldn't come into work or work from home.

They've been kicked out because they pulled out if the season , normally a club would be immediately relegated ( or given a points deduction effectively doing that ) as a result of that , they have been offered the chance to remain , it wasn't good enough

Its exceptional circumstances and most of the other clubs refused to finish the season I think 6 clubs said they would still compete?

So kick them all out then??

Have a second tier of 6 teams and a top tier of 11

There you go problem solved

The sponsors have to be interested in what you're doing. And London has a population more than twice the size of Yorkshire.

Why would sponsors be less interested just because clubs are close to each other. Fc and kr

sometimes you have to take a step backwards to move forward

Not really a club gets 10k home fans but because they dont take many to some yorkshire/lancashire pit village then theres no point having them in as a side with a home average of 500 will take 20 away to another pit village as they cant get enough home fans to pay the wages of the average players who have dropped out of a SL academy

As a club they were expected to fulfill their fixtures, as all SL clubs did, or at least attempted. Some made an effort TW didn't bother.

Sponsors pay to get eyes on their product/brand/image

Its not a relative who gets a company to buy their kids team a kit. This isnt sponsorship its charity wrapped up as sponsorship as the companys logo will go on the kit but isnt the modern advertising sponsorship that has a dual partnership.

NZ warriors or the NRL winners the Melbourne Storm wouldn't have been able to unless the rest of the NRL helped them out. They thought big picture.

Exactly & if you think they’re gonna take an interest in East 17 in what we’re doing up here, you are gassed mate. Out of interest, could you please tell us your age is & what point in your life Do you think RL has been at its peak?

Salford didnt fulfill theirs so kick them out?

Clubs seem to be refusing to play catalan so kick them out?

The lower leagues didnt fulfill the season so kick them all out?

In all seriousness though how did you forsee that all the SL clubs would go over and play in Toronto during a global pandemic when they cant even get to France to play?

All clubs in a low interest sport from a small area that is not economically wealthy or a cultural leader isn't interesting to major outside sponsors. If you want to advertise to people in that area there's cheaper ways to do that.
