Is this a fair and equitable decision?

Recommended Posts

Warrington were awarded a 24-0 win against Salford last week when the Devils had only 13 fit players.

HKR announce today that they will curtail their season immediately due to C19.

We are in the middle of the biggest Pandemic for years and years and yet Salford are the ONLY team to have suffered this way.

Warrington meanwhile have been gifted 2 more points which has given them lofty status AND increased Prize Money.

It is time for this decision to be reversed with points reinstated.

What say you guys?

Yeah not sure why Warrington were awarded the win especially as it will have a pretty big effect on their points %

It's a fair point, particularly as Saints refused to play Catalans too with no punishment.

Its all academic now. Top 6 play off.  Thevactual top6 are clearly the top teams as its panned out.  Wire will be 3rd.  Good luck to Giants if they beat Wigan, if so all top 3 have played 17 and all would be on 12 wins.  Points difference.   Fair doos for Wigan if they win.  Its all a bit iffy, but there was nothing else to do.  Too many matches in too short a time.  It was always going to be that, but no one wanted to listen to reality.

And a bidding war for 12th place.

Salford and Hull kr shouldn’t receive their full allocation of the sky money, as they haven’t completed the season. That’d make teams think twice about pulling out of games like a poorly run u12’s side.

Saints and Leeds both refused to play Catalans. So, according to you. They should both receive less than their full allocation. Or do your views not include Saints and Leeds?

What prize money ?

The hubcap winners receive £100K and then the 2 grand finalists share a pot of £150K (£100K to the winners and £50K to the runners up). Unless things have changed this year nobody except the hubcap winners receive prize money based on their league position.

Warrington would finish 3rd regardless of the salford free 2 points or not
