If you're going to do that sort of thing, don't make such a show of it. Matthew Ridge was a past master at that sort of thing, but he kept it subtle, so the referee would only see the reaction.

Momentum is huge. One minute, Hull are in Wigan’s faces physically and metaphorically and forcing Wigan errors inside their own half. Then the whistle gets blown, Wigan get upfield, score and score again and it’s all them. 

It suddenly looks a long way back for Hull.
