Hull fc great of the 1950s, sadly passed early this morning aged 92.. Born in Fitzwilliam then lived in Havercroft . Bernard was a stand off/centre, a hard man also a Gentleman.

Got to know bernard many years ago through a common interest in greyhound racing. I never realised he had been a rugby player. Great bloke and sad news

Uncle Bernard , i remember the stories from your playing days and i remember been in your office at the pit ,along with many memories of been with you Auntie Barbara and Paul . Wish i could been been there yesterday .  Love David
