Leythers return to Super League

Leigh now has to prepare quickly for their return and despite having a strong squad for the Championship, it seems strengthening will be essential. Apparently, their spending limits will also be restricted, with only £1m of central funding made available to them, whereas the other Super League clubs will all take £1.5m from that central pot. We should be so lucky!   The Leythers will be flying high - and good luck to them - let's hope that spectators can return to grounds in numbers in the not too distant future.

No doubt our Chairman, with his Leigh connections, will be very happy at the outcome and perhaps he can arrange a friendly with Hornets prior to the start for the 2021 campaign and our 150th year activities.
