Not so much the headline, but the bit just underneath.

I presume the thinking with this was that had she successfully given him more drink then the police could not have proved if the driver had been over the limit when he had been driving or whether he had only been taken over the limit afterwards.

Now that's a headline that (I assume) you don't see every day: https://www.examinerlive.co.uk/news/local-news/john-shuttleworth-concert-inside-devils-24021646.amp

Well... I manage to ignore other people to such an extent these days that this piece of local news had completely passed me by:

I mainly drink in two "locals" in the city centre. One of them ... the Boar & Fable ... is tonight having chill out music played in its downstairs room by a representative of the Bradford Pub Church. I won't be going but hope it's a success. I'll get some feedback from fellow regulars and might go if a repeat night is booked.

So long as they don't try to get everyone to join in any hymn-singing. 😒👎

Going completely opposite to the title of this topic, as it's not where I live, and it is a few years old, but you just don't see headlines like this very often.

Jam Eater  1.(noun. jam eeter) A Resident of Whitehaven or Workington. Offensive.  It is now a term of abuse that both towns of West Cumbria use for each other especially at Workington/Whitehaven rugby league derby matches.
