Celebrity you have met

I was in the departure lounge of Antigua Airport about 5 years ago. My daughter was three and so I was keeping her entertained playing in the quiet part of the seating.

A woman rushed past... she was quite attractive and so I kept an eye on her. Then she dropped her passport and I told my daughter to pick it up. We tried to call her but she was rushing away.

Anyway, I picked her up and we ran a little way down the airport where said woman was panicking at the gate trying to find her passport.  I casually told my little girl to hand it to her and we got a massive thank you.

I did get a look at the passport and it was Natalie Imbruglia.

And yes, for a very small amount of time I considered pocketing it as a souvenir!

Antonio Fargas ( huggy bear) A mate of mine was in a stage play with him in London in the mid 90's and, as mates are prone to do, I went down to see him.

It was a bit ###### to be truthful, but I had a chance to sit and talk with him and his wife after the show and they were both very nice.

On reflection, I should have asked them what they thought about head and feed but it was the 90's....

Now, I guess some of these will get some flak!   Late seventies, early eighties, first in Aberdeen, then again -in Aberdeen and Houston (Texas, not Whitney!). As Manager of the Company’s exhibition, I was selected to meet, greet and escort Margaret Thatcher and, a year later, Cecil Parkinson.  I can only say that Maggie nearly hit me with her handbag, when I replied to her question with “of course Prime Minister”. She replied ”it maybe obvious to you young man” - note the latter.  Denis only wished to get to the nearby golf watering hole.  Cecil was charming and he never mentioned Sarah Keays. The other time at a “do” at The Houses of Parliament- meeting Professor Bellamy, Andrew Neil and Joanna Lumley.  Suffice to say that the latter made the e-v-e-r-l-a-s-t-i-n-g impression.
